Our Story

Our name is not an acronym.
'Taros' is an old Romanian word, an archaism, which means courage, temerity, fearlessness, boldness. Although it hasn't been used in everyday speech for over 100 years, we thought it suited us and it's time it shone again.

Our story begins in 2012, when we took on our first projects as freelancers. We didn't start from scratch; we already had years of website and graphic design experience under our belts.

We founded the company in 2016 to enable more options for fiscalizing partnerships. This shift broadened our horizons to include more complex contracts and a broader range of clients.

The pandemic struck in 2020, just while we were ready for what has become a cornerstone of the corporate landscape in the shadow of the pandemic: switching physical businesses to digital, online ones.

Many businesses, both old and new, have benefited from our assistance in navigating the turbulence of the last two years, both old businesses that required adaptive rebranding and new businesses that were created as a response to specific societal challenges.

Here we are in 2022, ten years after we committed to creating, empowering, and growing amazing digital products.
We've decided to open up to the world, to grow as we've grown hundreds of customers over the last decade.
We will expand our team and create a network of collaborators that will allow us to tackle any project, no matter how complex.
If we have previously worked primarily (but not exclusively) with local clients in our home country of Romania, we have decided to leverage all of our digital business experience and open the door to collaboration with clients from the European space.
