Replatforming a trading store

The store moved to a new commerce platform in 2020, with the catalogue, the customer history and the URLs carried across. The shop kept trading throughout. A replatform is judged entirely on what the customer does not notice.

Built around how the business actually sells

Not every customer wants to complete a checkout. There is a phone-order route on the product page because a proportion of this audience would rather call. There are instalment options through several banks, because that is how a purchase at this price point often happens here. There is a business-invoicing block at checkout that collects the fiscal details a company buyer needs, so an order does not turn into an email exchange.

Everything around the store

Over the years the work has extended well past the website: campaign creative, social, email, marketplace feeds, print and the men’s line. In practice we operate as the digital department rather than as a supplier of websites.
